At HOBBY - SPORTS, we are committed to delivering your bike safely and efficiently. Because our products are large and may include high‑capacity Lithium‑Ion batteries, we follow the shipping rules below.

1. Shipping Destinations (USA Only)

We only ship within the 48 contiguous United States.

• No shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or any international addresses.
• No shipping to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO, or military addresses.

2. Processing and Shipping Times

• Order Processing: Orders are usually processed and prepared for shipment within 2–5 business days.
• Transit Time: Once the carrier picks up your order, transit time is usually 3–10 business days, depending on your distance from our Florida distribution center.
• Tracking: You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

3. Shipping Method & Carriers

• Freight Delivery: Most bikes ship with specialized LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight carriers to help keep them upright and protected.
• Battery Safety: Shipments that include Lithium‑Ion batteries follow UN3481 rules (Lithium‑Ion batteries contained in equipment). Batteries are shipped at a reduced State of Charge (SoC) for safety.

4. Delivery Procedures

• Signature Required: An adult (18+) must sign for delivery because of the high value of the shipment.
• Delivery Appointment: The freight carrier may contact you using the phone number you provide at checkout to schedule a delivery window. Please make sure your contact details are correct.

5. Inspection Upon Delivery

IMPORTANT: Please inspect the package before the driver leaves.

• If the box looks badly damaged (crushed, punctured, or torn), you may refuse the delivery or ask the driver to mark “Damaged” on the Bill of Lading (BOL) or delivery receipt.
• Contact us at (813) 406‑9880 or support@hobbysports.us within 24 hours of receiving a damaged shipment so we can review options and, if needed, start a claim with the carrier.

6. Shipping Costs

• Flat Rate / Free Shipping: Any “Free Shipping” or flat‑rate offers apply only to the 48 contiguous United States.
• Change of Address: If you request an address change after your order has shipped, the carrier may charge a rerouting fee. This fee will be your responsibility.

7. Battery Handling Notice

• Lithium‑Ion batteries are classified as Class 9 Hazardous Materials.
• If you ever need to ship a battery separately for service or return, you must use a certified hazardous‑materials shipper and UN‑certified packaging.
• Improper or unauthorized shipping of Lithium‑Ion batteries can be dangerous and may lead to federal fines.
